GreenTec Auto Aims to Decrease Hybrid Battery Theft with Tamper-Free Bolts
The California-based company is now offering in-store and mobile installations.
Sacramento, California – July 13, 2015 – National hybrid battery company GreenTec Auto today announces they are working to decrease the growing threat of hybrid battery theft in the Bay Area with proprietary tamper-free bolts. “Everybody’s talking about the problem but nobody has talked about a viable solution. We want to be part of the solution to this growing epidemic,” articulates GreenTec Auto Vice President Daniel Razumovsky.
GreenTec Auto’s custom bolts will also require special equipment to remove, making it difficult for thieves to remove without the appropriate tools. “The idea is that it would take a long time and a lot of noise to remove the batteries,” explains Razumovsky. “Our hope is that these bolts increase security for our clients.”
The company is now taking appointments to install the tamper resistant anti-theft bolts at their Rancho Cordova location for a special July rate of $275. GreenTec Auto can install the anti-theft bolts in a client’s driveway in just forty-five minutes in the greater Bay Area via mobile installation for a special July rate of $350. The inaugural rates are good through July 31, 2015.
“The reason we’re in this market is to keep environmentally friendly hybrids on the road,” states Razumovsky. “Our team is dedicated to being the solution to the growing problem of hybrid battery theft in the greater San Francisco area. We’re proud to provide tamperproof custom bolts to accomplish that.”
