Hey guys, this is Jaxx with Greentec Auto here today and we got a 2009 Chrysler Aspen hybrid battery right in front of us. So, this is what it looks like right here. You’re going to have 40 cells all across the battery and this is what it looks like. So, if you’re watching today’s video, I’m assuming you’re maybe your Chrysler Aspen battery has just failed. Maybe it’s kind of failing. Maybe you’re getting some either sluggish acceleration, your MPG has dropped, or you’re debating buying a Chrysler, and you kind of want to know a bit about the battery because you probably heard some costs online about how they’re super expensive. So, let’s just go over it right now. The first thing you should know that the dealership is going to charge a hefty hefty fee for these batteries itself. Reason being is because, you know, Chrysler makes Chrysler cars. They don’t want to make batteries, right? They’re not in the battery business. That’s our job. So, that’s the first thing. We’re going to be a lot more affordable than the dealership itself. And uh going back to the battery itself, 40 modules that look like this all across. And these modules are actually in a Toyota Highlander. They’re in a Prius. The main battery that they’re in is Priuses, you know, Prius C, TP1, TP2, Toyota Prius third generation, all Priuses, Highlanders, and uh Chevy Tahoe also has these same exact cells. These are going to last anywhere from 8 to 10 years. Like your Chrysler Aspen hybrid battery, if you haven’t got it replaced, it’s probably going to last anywhere from 8 to 10 years, maybe 12 on the high end. really just depending on the biggest thing is number one how you drive and number two surprisingly where you live right so if you live somewhere hot like California, Arizona, Texas, Florida, your hybrid battery could fail years before it should have just because of the heat. And on the topic of heat, right here you can see is the fan, right? So it’s spinning, boom, cooling down the battery because batteries fail in the heat, right? So this is a module and then each one of these little things are cells, right? So when heat comes in and if if it’s a lot of heat, it breaks down the chemistry inside of the cells itself. And then you can go boom, one cell is bad, right? And you’ll maybe see some people online if you’re someone who has battery has just failed maybe or you’ve got a diagnostic and like yep, your battery is bad. Maybe you’ve seen online a thing about cell replacement. and let me just inform you about that for a second. So, again, 40 cells across the whole battery. Some people would just be like, “Okay, let’s say cell 12 is bad. Let’s just go ahead and replace that, right?” Well, the truth is is it doesn’t really work because it’s a band-aid fix, right? Once you’re putting, let’s say, a brand new cell inside of this pack, now everything is unbalanced. Now, the whole battery pack is unbalanced. Okay, that’s number one. Number two, if one of the cells are bad, the rest of them are on the verge of going bad as well. So, everyone that really comes to us replaces the full battery pack. We’ve had a few people that are like, “Oh, I just want to replace the cell cuz the cell’s a lot more affordable, you could say.” But then they do the cell replacement three, four times, five times, six times until they finally decide to get a full battery replacement. And we don’t just sell you the batteries. We sell you peace of mind. And I’ll tell you what what I mean by that. So, we offer warranties from 18 months all the way to 36 months. And on top of that, you don’t have to pay a hefty dealership for the diagnostic fee. If you have an error code on your car right now and maybe you’ve diagnosed it and you’re not fully sure, we can come out to you with our diagnostic service or you can come to our shop and get a diagnostic done. We run all the codes on the battery, see if it’s really the hybrid battery that needs to be replaced because, you know, we don’t want to sell you something you don’t need, right? And then if it is, boom, we’ll come out there, whether it’s your your home, your garage, Walmart parking lot for all the week here, and we can replace the battery there, or you can come in shop. It’s a bit of a different fee depending on how far you live from the shop. But yeah, if you’re interested on cost or some more details about the battery, you can click the link in our bio, green
techchauto.com. I’ll put our website and then a direct link to this battery itself. And then if you just want to give us a call if you’re like, “Hey, my battery just failed. I just want to get it replaced right away.” I’ll put our phone number in the description as well. And since you stuck with me all the way through, I’m going to give you a code GT AI for $200 off for not if, but when your Aspen needs to get the battery replaced. Thank you guys.
