After 12 years and 80K miles, my 2013 Volt developed a few bad cells in the high capacity battery pack. As car has been otherwise bulletproof, I decided to spend some $$$ to replace the pack. Greentec shop in Austin did a great job of replacing the battery. The battery has worked w/o any issues for 21 months . Replacement battery provides 40+ miles of range and has not lost any capacity yet. Greentek reps for website and at shop were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. After replacement, battery takes about 1 week, @200 miles to fully recalibrate and during this period, it may show lower capacity. I greatly appreoiate Greentec’s offering as it helps recycle batteries responsibly and adds years to this great car.

My experience with greetec at the Tampa location was great.
The battery was installed, they kept is 3 days for load testing, and when everything was done I picked it up.
First day out I got 44 or so miles on the charge, and the guess-o-meter was almost 50% low.
This was 50 mph@80F with the ac at 72 and eco.
I’m very pleased, and I hope the battery fares well over time.
