We have recently confirmed that 2011-2012 Chevy Volts have a limitation with the amount of energy they will use. These years of the Volt will not utilize the full capacity. The City and Highway driving numbers have been adjusted to represent what is expected of those years. We currently do not have the ability to fully unlock the range, and are not actively looking for a solution. This battery will still work in the 2011-2012 Volts, however, it will not cycle the battery all the way down which may result in the battery lasting a longer duration due to the relaxed usage.
City Driving
Expected Range: 24-30 Miles
Driving Efficiency: 95%
Climate Efficiency: 95%
Driving conditions:
- Outdoor temperature between 60F and 90F
- No Rain or Wind
- Off highway, surface streets only
- 45 mph or bellow
- Stop and go
- No quick acceleration or deceleration
- Green ball no more than half way out of the circle, always has green leaves
- No AC or Heater running, fan only.
Highway driving
Expected range: 16-20 Miles
Driving Efficiency: 60%
Climate Efficiency: 90%
Driving Conditions:
- Outdoor temperature between 60F and 90F
- No Rain or Wind
- Between 55 and 75mph
- Consistent speed
- Green ball loses Eco Leaf but does not turn Orange.
- Center of the Green ball does not go past the first marker on the gauge
Warranty: 36 (thirty six) months, unlimited mileage and the original service purchased for Chevy Volt battery replacement.
