So far so good. I got the 2010-2014 Toyota Prius inverter. It was ready and easy to install. I’ve been driving on it for about 2 weeks now and I drive about 150 miles a day. Tbh it actually feels better than before. The only problem I had was that I forgot to fully engage the orange power plug for the hybrid battery. But I would totally order from Green Tec Auto again. 👍

Do you want my old inverter back! Do I get a core refund or do I just throw it in scrape years! Rate a five

I purchased a Greentec inverter for a 2011 Prius with 54K miles. Servco Toyota has the monopoly here in Hawaii and doesn’t care about the Prius class action law suit in California. Estimate was $6,100. Kiss my grits! Picked up the car and brought it home for some DIY. Servco Toyota did offer to purchase my Prius the day I picked it up.
As far as GreenTec, No core charge was nice. Satisfied with shipping time and cost being in the middle of the Pacific. My other option was a bunch of used EBay inverters from various wrecking yards in Cali. Not worth the gamble with my situation.
Fast forward a week or so. Installed the inverter and pump without any issues. Blue Driver scan tool is not allowed to clear the “cooling system performance POA93” or “DC/DC converter performance POA94” codes immediately after the repair. I had visible turbulence in the inverter reservoir indicating a functioning pump. All dash check engine lights were off during my test drive.
Plugged in the Blue Driver a few days later. The Prius cleared all of the codes for me like it never happened. The total repair cost was $1,400 which includes the inverter and shipping plus a made in Japan Aisin pump. I will not hesitate with purchasing GreenTec products in the future.

The part showed up quick, and works great!

I just recently had this installed so I cannot yet verify quality of inverter itself. If it gives me no trouble to 300K miles (at 140 currently), then its 5 stars but until then. I can rate the service itself, which was ok. They did not fully express lead times, and it took longer than I thought to receive it. People on phone were less than friendly, but for 1/4 the cost of a new OEM inverter they could have spit in my face and its still 3 stars. In the end its installed (which should only cost around $450 to get done btw) and running great. I can swap it out one more times and get installed for the price of just an OEM inverter new. This is def the way to go.

I have purchased two parts from greentecauto and both times the parts worked out just fine and I saved a ton of money by buying a refurbished product.
