SYMPTOMS (7 items)
- Vehicle won’t start (or struggles to start)
- “Check Engine” + Hybrid System warning lights
- Master Warning (“Triangle of Death”) light
- Vehicle goes into limp mode
- Reduced power output
- Engine cranks weakly or not at all
- Often appears alongside P0A80 or P0A7F
POSSIBLE CAUSES (7 items)
- Hybrid battery cannot deliver sufficient starting voltage
- One or more failed cells preventing pack from cranking engine
- Faulty motor-generator or its control circuit
- Failed inverter relay
- Low 12-volt auxiliary battery (rare cause but possible)
- Hybrid Control Module failure
- Wiring harness damage between battery and motor-generator
