These modules will have the Valance warranty sticker over the BMS cover intact, none of them were opened or reset. These modules were not bad ones we restored, they were always good that we have maintained. The BMS does draw power from the module during normal operation. If left in storage for over a month, keep an eye on the voltage and top off the battery periodically.
These batteries were used in a high voltage application but you can series and parallel them however needed. Make sure they are all fully charged before you series them, and at least the same voltage before you parallel them.
NOTE: Some battery modules may come with cracks around the terminals.
Batteries were tested under real world conditions. Charged to 14.6V with a 7A cut-off. Battery voltage settles and we discharge at 40A until it reaches 10V. This represents actual real world usable capacity. Whole test takes 5 hours.
LED indicator guide
Green: all good.
Yellow(looks like red and green): Charge level less than %20SoC recharge immediately, or battery is near thermal limit and is close to overheating.
Red: Low Charge level or issue with the battery or BMS.
No Light: Battery charge depleted to %0 and BMS shut off.
BMS will automatically balance the cells within one module during the top of the charge. Will not balance between modules when hooked up in series, only in parallel. If wiring these modules in series, please see the balancer we have listed to keep your batteries balanced. You would need the 12V version, one for every module you have in series.
