There are two versions of the modules, the differences are shown in the pictures. The main identifiable features are coolant hose connection, ziptie coolant clamps, BMS Voltage connection plug, Voltage tap fuse quantity, white or black underside, and cell type. There are two cell types used, and both cell types are used in both module types. The cell types are Samsung INR21700-50G and LG INR21700M50L. Both cell specifications are listed below.

We did capacity tests on one module and got 293.4Ah, that is 93% SoH!!

Module cooling is integrated into the battery module. The module has cooling tubes that run the length of the module.

The main positive and main negative terminals have very little clearance for the bolt underneath the terminal. We provided pictures to show what we mean. Do not screw down the bolt without and adequately thick busbar or ring terminal, otherwise it will apply pressure on the module plastic shell.

The cell tap ribbon cables have built in fuses that are rated for 500mA, passing more current than that will burn up the fuse and will not be warrantied. All fuse taps were checked before shipping.

The pictures of the underside show the main positive and negative connections exposed. Every module is like that. Extra care should be taken when handling the battery and placing it onto tables. The terminals are live and if both sides touch conductive metals, you will have a large sparks show on your hands.

There are 12 modules in one battery pack, looks like there are two types of modules, one even, one odd. They are nearly identical, the difference is if the temperature sensor ribbon cable comes from the positive or negative side. If you buy multiple, we will send modules from the same packs.

Not every module will have the attached BMS.
