Two weeks after getting my new to me 2014 Prius, the "Check Hybrid System" message came up along with a bunch of warning lights. Took it to a local Toyota dealership to have it diagnosed. They didn't diagnose anything. Just seen the message and very quickly determined my car needed $4,800.00 worth of work and a "new" battery that had a 12 month warranty. That's about a third of what I paid for the car. Went online and found a couple companies offering batteries for my car including one that offered to send the individual blocks with new wiring and temp sensors so I the owner could DIY the pack rebuild. Came across Greentec Auto and they offered comparable prices (a little lower actually) and warranty with mostly 80%+ good reviews. I scheduled a 12 month warranty battery but had to wait until my return came in. This company honored the older price plus offered me a home install instead of me going to their office. Seems they had another install near me and it made it more convenient for both of us. On the day of the install, Michael arrived and quickly got to work while talking about the process and what he was doing. After about an hour, Michael was finishing up and performed a test drive. I thanked him for the work and happily paid. I've experienced zero issues and had several trips end with mileages over 50mpg. I will absolutely come back to get the 48 month warranty battery with new blocks.
