I purchased my 2002 Toyota Prius in 2015 through a friend who worked at GreenTec Auto in the Dallas area. Although it had high mileage, the interior and exterior were in excellent condition. I was informed that this vehicle had a special history with GreenTec. After about a month (in Jan. 2016) I had an issue with the hybrid battery that was quickly resolved by GreenTec. I have gotten great gas mileage (miles per gallon) from this Gen. 1 classic vehicle for several years. I have replaced the inverter cooling pump, and the 12 Volt battery. Then a thief stole my catalytic converter. I decided to repair the car, and was on the road again. Recently I had a problem my mechanic diagnosed as hybrid battery related. I told him about my positive experiences with GreenTec several years ago. I immediately contacted them, talked with Bradley in K.C., and a friend took me to the location in Dallas. I consulted with Billy, and the next day brought my car in to run diagnostics. Michael had also called and texted me to schedule an appointment. Billy and Maurice determined I needed to replace my hybrid battery. I contacted Hunter in K.C., and he sent the invoice to Dallas. They performed the swap out, and road tested it. After driving a few miles the red triangle of death appeared, and I drove back to the shop. Thankfully Billy had another battery in stock. They did their thing, and got me back on the road again quickly. I am a senior citizen on a fixed low income, and I highly recommend checking out GreenTec. Dealership prices are often excessive, and unaffordable. Michael reached out again to make sure everything is still OK. Everyone has been very knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and demonstrate they care about their customers. They provided exceptional service. Thank you all very much!
